Perito Moreno Glacier Tour + All Glaciers



DAY 1:



From Monday to Sunday. All year.

Departure: Pick up at 7.45 AM in high season (from September to April) and 08.45 am in low season (from may to august)

Duration: 8 hs


The Perito Moreno Glacier Tour starts with a trip from your accommodation in El Calafate to Los Glaciares National Park, an area of unique beauty declared World heritage Site by UNESCO.

Once in the Park, and assisted by our guides, we will visit the catwalk circuit (north face of the glacier) . From there you can capture beautiful images and also heard and even feel the glacier walls ruptura. Its a shocking vision, worthy to enjoy, To achieve a different view of the Glacier, you can do it from Bajo Las Sombras Port, from there you can admire the south face of the Glacier.

Optionally you can book the navigation tour “Safari Náutico” (45 min), to achieve a closer look and perspective.

DAY 2:


Schudele: Everyday, All year

Duration: 10 hours


The pick up starts at 07.00 am from the hotels. Arriving at Calafate’s town at 05.00 pm.


The route includes only the north branch of Lago Argentino.

The tour runs along the Spegazzini & Upsala glaciers, going into the bays that they form and also includes navigation on the iceberg belt located  at about 20 km from Upsala Glacier

First part of the route goes trough the Boca del Diablo, the narrowest part of the lake, from there the ship will be heading to Canal Upsala & Canal Spegazzini where we can see the cannel ends and both glaciers. The navigation goes into magnificent icebergs of many sizes and shapes. From you ship you can see among others, the Upsala & Spegazzini  glaciers, the biggest and the highest of the National Park Glaciers.

We prepare to disembark in The Spegazzini Base and we begin the visit to the area walking through from the forest path to the Spegazzini Refuge (next to the opening rarse). This 300-meter path is accessible and as we travel it we stop at stations and viewpoints overlooking the entire Bay of Los Glaciers. In the refuge we can have lunch, visit the shop or appreciate  the landscape. For those who like to walk, they can take the mountain path. This tour is a medium difficulty trekking tad through a wooded road, with natural viewpoints, full of incredible views that ends at the landing point.

The ships have very good heating and you only need to stay on the outside decks in case you want to take pictures.
